ADA - Services for Harold Clifford Smalley, 84, Ada, are 11 a.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Michael Strange conducting rites. Burial follows at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Smalley died June 5, 1992, at Ada. He was born March 26, 1908, at Calhoun, Ill., to Roy Smalley and Inez Mae Montgomery.
He moved to Ada in 1954 from Anton, Texas. He had also lived in the Baird, Texas, and Shallow Water, Texas areas. Mr. Smalley graduated from Shallow Water High School in 1930.
He was a farmer and service station attendant and also carried mail for Ada as a substitute carrier. He was affiliated with the Asbury Methodist Church.
On Dec. 23, 1930, he married Lonnie Alice Ellerd in Lovington, N.M.
Survivors include his wife, Lonnie, of the home; a son, Monte D. Smalley, Ada; two daughters, Charlotte Harrison, Ada, and Linda Andrews, Pampa, Texas; a brother, Hovel Smalley, Fremont, Calif.; a sister, Berneita Atkins, Fort Worth, Texas; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Sam Gurley, Orval Ballard, Kenneth Wilkerson, Jody Jared, Gary Wilson and Eddie Andrews.
