Bradley S. Crawford died at his Hampton Township home Sat., Aug. 7, 2004.

Born in Clarion on Wedneday, May 7, 1961, he was the only son of Darl E. "Bud" and Patricia Jean Gathers Crawford of New Bethlehem. He was married to the former Kimberly L. Wharrey. She survives.

Brad was very active with his sons in Cub Scouts and summer camps. He attended University of Pittsburgh part-time and was on the Parent Advisory Board of the DePaul Institute of Pittsburgh. A certified paramedic, he had been employed by the American Heart Assn. to coordinate and teach CPR classes. Prior to his death he was employed as the assistant director of continuing education for the Community College of Allegheny County.

In addition to his wife and parents, Bradley was survived by two sons, Bryan A. Crawford and Blaine A. Crawford, both of Hampton Township; his in-laws William D. and Jane E. Wharrey; three sisters-in-law, Christine Mercier, Candace Lizzi and Colleen Perrucci; a brother-in-law Bill Wharrey; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Aug. 11, 2004 at St. Catherine of Sweden Roman Catholic Church, Hampton Township, with internment in Assumption Cemetery.
