Mrs. Emma Baumann 89, of 421 5th St., Kiel, widow of Edward, died at 10:40 p.m. Saturday in Calumet Memorial hospital, Chilton
For the past two years Mrs. Baumann had been a resident of Toth Nursing Home, Chilton. Prior to that she had been living with her son, Lester Meiselwitz, at the Kiel address. The former Emma Roeh, she was born in the Town of Eaton (Manitowoc County) April 28, 1878, a daughter of the late Detlof and Margaret Stuben Roeh. She was married to Arthur Meiselwitz of the Town of Schleswig in 1901 and moved to Kiel. He died in 1905. She was married to Mr. Baumann of Kiel, April 4, 1918. He died in 1933. Mrs. Baumann was a member of the Kiel Royal Neighbor Lodge.
Surviving are the son, Lester Meiselwitz; a step-daughter, Mrs. Wanda Zimmermann, Germantown; a step-son, Ruben Baumann, Port Washington; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel, with the Rev. Allen L. Bowe, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Kiel, officiating. Burial will be in Kiel Cemetery.
