Pfc US Army WW II where he served as a medical technician in the 16th General Hospital in Whales-France, Belgium. During the battle of the Bulge, Charlie received four Battle Stars. He was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist church of Forsyth County Georgia since he was 14 years old. He was a member of the American Legion.
