Mrs. Thoman Dies in Hospital

Mrs. Anna Dudley Thoman 76 years old, wife of a Fountain Square businessman, died yesterday in St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Thoman was the wife of Peter Thoman, owner since 1926 of Thoman Shoe Store Company in Fountain Square.
Born at St. Peter in Franklin County, Mrs. Thoman had livered here 66 years. Her home was at 1313 Leonard Street.
Mrs. Thoman was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, its Altar Society, Christian Mothers Society, St. Francis Guild and Martha Washington Society.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in Lauck Funeral Home. Requiem high mass will be sung at 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Other surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Helen Groh and Mrs. Velma Cooney; two sons, Harold and Joseph Thoman, all of Indianapolis; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
