Mrs, Paschall Funeral Held Here On Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Paschall, 80, were held at 2 PM Friday at the Phillips and Luckey Chapel, with burial in the Smyrna Cemetery near Milano. Rev. D. Allen Cearley of Austin officiated.
Mrs. Paschall died at 1:15 AM Thursday at the Newton Hospital in Cameron. She was a resident of Milano route 1 and had spent her life in Milam County, living several years in Cameron.
She was born Dec. 21, 1887 in Milam County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Luce. She was retired, but for several years was owner of the Milam Hotel in Cameron. Her husband was the late Frank Paschall. A son, Hubert Paschall, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include the following: Nieces, Mrs. Barkley Jeter of Rockdale, Mrs. Annie Mae Ely of Gouse, Mrs. Raymond Ely of Gause, Mrs. Malcom Timmons of Gause, and a nephew, Earl Hardcastle of Gause; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Hazel Paschall of Austin.
Pallbearers were Ray Woods, G. T. Woods, W. D. Woods, Henry Woods, W. L. Woods, and Ray Cantrell.
