Frank was a 63 year member of the ZCBJ Lodge, Jan Kolar #101 of DuBois, joining in 1919. He was proud of his Czech heritage and loved Czech music. In his later years he enjoyed gardening.

FRANK DVORAK
Frank Adolph Dvorak, son of the late Frank Dvorak,Sr., and Frances Jilek, was born April 24, 1889 on a farm near Pawnee City.
Frank attended the local schools of the community. He was baptized at a little German church in his neighborhood.
On February 15, 1922, he was united in marriage to Anna Kozler of Virginia. The wedding took place in Beatrice. The couple celebrated 58 years of wedded life.
Following their marriage, the couple started farming between DuBois and Pawnee City. They lived on the same farm all their married life. Frank was a life long farmer.
Three children were born to this union, one daughter, Mrs. Carol (Sylvia) Anderson of Humboldt and two sons, Otto and Arnold of Pawnee City.
Frank was a 63 year member of the ZCBJ Lodge, Jan Kolar 101 of DuBois, joining in 1919.
His wife Anna Dvorak, passed away on July 29, 1980.
Frank passed away on July 6. 1982 at the Humboldt Community Hospital. He had reached the age of 93 years, 2 months and 12 days.
Frank was proud of his Czech heritage and loved Czech music. In his later years, Frank enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his daughter, Sylvia, two sons, Otto and Arnold of the home, a son-in-law, Carol Anderson, one sister, Mrs. Vincent (Mary) Martinek of Silver Lake, Ks., two grandchildren, Judy and Jerry Anderson, one sister-in-law, Mary Barcal of Lincoln and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and six sisters, Mrs. Edward (Anna) Shinn, Mrs. Edward (Emma) Shinn, Mrs. Frank (Frances) Daniel, Mrs. Jim (Lottie) Vetrovsky, Mrs. Philip (Rosie) Bahner and Mrs. Frank (Maggie) Kalina.
Funeral services were held July 8, 1982 at Wherry Mortuary in Pawnee City, Nebraska with Rev. Ward Merritt officiating.
Organist was Mrs. Rose Thiemann and duet selections were sung by Mrs. John Wherry and Mrs. Byford Metzger.
Serving as pallbearers were Bill Kalina, Eugene Kalina, Mike Rakosnik, Lumir Rakosnik, Otto Mach and Robert Stepanek.
Interment was at the Bohemian National Cemetery southwest of Humboldt.
