Mr. Bobby Joe Riley, of Hodgen, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born in Hartford, Arkansas in 1938. Mr. Riley was a member of the Stapp-Zoe Baptist Church; a retired coach/teacher at Heavener Public School; a former bus driver for the school; and a substitute school teacher, when called upon.
Mr. Riley was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by two daughters: Terry Cecil of Delaware and Bobbi Lester, of Rudy, Arkansas; a brother: Tommy Riley, of Hartford, Arkansas; five wonderful grandchildren; one great-grandchild; other relatives; and many good friends and former students.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 14, 2009, at the 1st Baptist Church in Hodgen. Mr. Riley was laid to rest at Hartford Memorial Park Cemetery in Hartford, Arkansas.
