Jeffery Lynn Windham, 46, of Valley Mills, passed away Dec. 31, 2009, in a tragic automobile accident near Valley Mills, Texas. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church. Graveside service will be 3 p.m. at Tecumseh Cemetery in Callahan County, under the direction of Foss Funeral Home. Visitation will be 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, at the funeral home.
Jeff was born in Abilene, Texas to Hal Dean and Brenda Windham. He attended school at Valley Mills and was a 1982 graduate of Aquila High School. Jeff was a member of the Valley Mills First Baptist Church. He had formerly worked for Hill Bail Bondsman and was an avid hunter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hal Dean Windham.
Survivors include his daughter, Meredith Gail Windham, of China Spring; mother, Brenda Windham Bielss and husband, Arthur, of Valley Mills; grandmother, Evelyn Ray, of Wichita Falls; sister, Tammy Joe Whitmire and husband, Wade, of Valley Mills; nieces, Quincie and Elizabeth Rynn Whitmire; and many aunts and uncles.
