CHARLES F. SHUCK

Charles F. Shuck, son of P. P. and Elizabeth F. Shuck, was born near Derby, Iowa, March 9, 1873, and passed away June 4, 1947, at the Iowa State Hospital, Iowa City, at the age of 74 years, two months and 25 days.

He spent the greater part of his life in Oregon and Idaho, returning to Iowa in 1929, spending the past eighteen years in Derby. For the past twelve years he has made his home with his only sister, Mrs. Flora B. Conner, who, with his brother, M. E. Shuck, of Denver, Colo., and a large circle of nieces and nephews, are the survivors.

He will be missed by neighbors and friends in Derby who had learned to know him through the years.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, June 6, at 2 o'clock in the Methodist church at Derby, in charge of the Rev. Virgil Swanson and Rev. Moody. Interment was made in the Derby cemetery.
