ARTHUR KELLER DIES AT DES MOINES HOSPITAL
C. A. (Arthur) Keller, 75, of Derby, long-time Lucas county resident, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 16, 1958, at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, where he had been a patient since Nov. 15.
He had farmed near Derby for the past 32 years and was prominent in civic and community activities. He was president of the Lucas County Farm Bureau for several years, president of the Derby Fair Association for many years, served as secretary-treasurer of the Derby Telephone Co., and also served as its president. He was township assessor for Union township for several years.
He is survived by his wife Mamie, daughter, Mrs. Don (Lavar) Wells of Chariton, four grandchildren, a brother and one sister.
