The son of George & Dorothy (Skinner) Olcott, he was baptized on Oct. 10, 1742 and died 1773 in the West Indies. He married Lydia Barnard on July 16, 1769 at the First Church of Harford, daughter of Joseph Barnard & Sarah Olcott. She died on July 30, 1810 at age 66.
