According to the National Archives (DC) the civil war documents related to the Battle of Jonesville (Va) on Jan. 3d 1864, Henry died from wounds he received at the battle. His final resting place does not appear to be in Jonesville with other Federal soldiers who died and were buried there. He could have been brought back to his home place and buried there. He served in the 16th Illinois Cavalry, Co. I, rank.
