FRIEDA KUHN
Mrs. Alvin L. Kuhn, 71, of 4950 N. Port Washington Rd., Milwaukee, a former Kiel resident, died Wednesday afternoon at St. Mary's Hospital, Milwaukee.
The former Frieda Nauth was born Oct. 31, 1894, in the Town of Rhine, a daughter of the late George and Katherine Nauth. She moved to Kiel in 1913 and was married to Alvin Kuhn of Kiel on June 1, 1918.
The couple lived in Waukesha and in 1922 moved to Milwaukee. For 23 years she operated a catering service in Milwaukee.
Surviving are her husband and three brothers, Dr. D. F. Nauth, Kiel, George Nauth of rural Kiel and Louis Nauth of Peoria, Ill. A sister and a brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. The Rev. Vernon E. Jaberg, pastor of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, will officiate and burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
