Funeral services for Anna L. Crone Kintner, 91, of Corydon, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon, with burial in the church cemetery. She died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
She was born in Perry County on Aug. 13, 1915, the daughter of George E. and Eva Hatfield Strahl. She was retired from the Census Bureau in Jeffersonville. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a 58 year member of the VFW Women?s Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter, Dotty Cox, Leavenworth; two sons, Joe T. Crone, Clearwater, Fla. and Larry G. Crone, Escatabwa, Miss.; a sister, Irene Carpenter, New Albany; a brother, Joe Strahl, Phoenix; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gilbert Glen Crone; and her second husband, Kermit Kintner; and two grandchildren, Shani Crone and Troy Crone.
Visitation at Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home in Corydon will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15 and after 9 a.m. on Monday. There will be a rosary service at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6 p.m.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial gifts be made to the American Cancer Society.
