Funeral services for Albert E. Altman, 71, Lismore, were conducted at St. Anthony Catholic church in Lismore. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Rev. Richard Loomis officiated, Chuck Holzmer. Cletus Spieker, Isadore Steinhoff, Emil Kellen, Melvin Bendt and Aloys Riesselman were pallbearers.

Albert Altman was born July, 17, 1906 in Ost. Ka. He married Frances Reker on Feb 4, 1931, in Lismore, They farmed in Lismore township until retiring last summer and moving to Lismore. He was vice president of the Lismore Senior Citizens and a member of the St. Anthony Catholic church. He is survived by his wife, one son, and one daughter. (Names deleted for privacy reasons), eight grandchildren, seven sisters (Names deleted for privacy reasons) He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
