HETTIE O'TILLIE WESTERMAN YOBLE
Hettie O'tillie Westerman Yoble was the daughter of George and Clara (Porr) Westerman, she was born near Humboldt. She was the last survivor of a family of five brothers and one sister.
She attended the Athens School through the eighth grade.
She was baptized and confirmed at the Four Mile Church.
She was united in marriage to Edmund F. Yoble, November 20, 1917, at the Methodist Church in Pawnee City. To this union six children were born, Altha, Fern, Wyeth, Baby Boy, Floyd and Dean.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed visiting with relatives, neighbors and friends. She was active in the DuBois Garden Club, United Methodist Women, Apron Homemakers Ext. Club, and was a Gold Star Member of the American Legion Aux. Hettie enjoyed gardening, sewing, and traveling as long as her health permitted.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers and sister. two sons, Wyeth, who died in service in Italy and a baby boy who died in infancy.
She is survived her children: Altha, Fern, Floyd and Dean. Also, fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends survive.
