Harry Fields, 84, 408 E. Main St., Ridgeville, died Tuesday at his home after an extended illness. He was a retired employee of Anchor Hocking Glass Co., Winchester.
Born Feb. 4, 1893, he was the son of Oliver and Mary (Steed) Fields. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, Violet Rose; one son, Perry (Gene) Fields, Winchester; one daughter, Mrs. Clara Bowman, Leavenworth, Kan.; one brother, Willard, Lynn; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Hale, Portland, and Mrs. Bessie Curry, Oklahoma City, Okla.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, Rev. Mort Garringer will officiate. Interment will follow in Reitenour Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
