Bedford, Indiana
M. A. Rainbolt, the jeweler of this city, died Thursday at 3 o’clock AM of
organic heart trouble, complicated with an affection of the liver ,
aged 59 years, 2 months and 25 days … He had been ill for about 8 weeks,
but recently thought improving, his death was rather sudden and unexpected..
His only child, Mrs. Grace Riggin, who had been called here by his illness,
returned to her home in St. Joe, Missouri only a few days ago, under the
impression that her father was recovering … Mrs. Riggin and the wife of the
deceased , Mrs. N. J. Rainbolt, the milliner, are the only surviving relatives ..
Mr. Rainbolt was born near Popcorn, this county and will be buried at the
Popcorn Cemetery Saturday, the services taking place there .. He had been
in the jewelry business at Harrodsburg and Mitchell, and moved from the
latter place to Bedford about 8 years ago … The widow and daughter have
the sympathy of many friends ….
