JOHN B. MCCRAW OF ROCK POINT BURIED
HONEY GROVE - John B. McCraw, 57, died early Monday morning at his home at Rock Point after a brief illness and the funeral was held Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock at McCraw's Chapel, conducted by Rev. A. B. Welch, Presbyterian pastor at Ladonia, assisted by Rev. Earl Jones, Methodist pastor here.
Survivors are his widow, his mother, Mrs. Josephine McCraw and these children: Mrs.Ruth Johnson, Bagby; Mrs. Onie McKae, Windom; Chester McCraw and Mrs. Elizabeth Williams, Honey Grove; Mrs. Irene Adams, Bagby; Johnnie McCraw, Forest Hill; Mrs. Mabel Martin, Green's Chapel; Ewell McCraw, and Fred McCraw, Honey Grove, beside 10 grandchildren and a brother, J. K. McCraw.
Pallbearers were Roy Doyle, Earl Bankston, Ed Shelton, Willie Clark, Fred Cisco and John B. Williams.
Born in Kentucky, Mr. McCraw came to Texas as a child and later married Miss Madge T. Richardson. He engaged in farming here.
