Born in Greenwood County he was a son of the late James William and Lucille Timmerman Dutton. He was a member of the Ware Shoals Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was retired from Tasco, Inc. He was twice married, first to the late Geneva Norton Dutton and then to Tammy Weathers.
Surviving is a step-daughter, Michelle Lynn Pitts of Ware Shoals, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday at Parker-White Funeral Home with Rev. Mac Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
Active Pallbearers will be Sonny Fredrick, Jordan Gambrell, Hilburn Burdette, James Brown, Bay Robinson, Bubba Lothridge, and Capers McGrier.
