Last week Thursday evening at 11:30 PM, Mrs. Herman Jaschob died suddenly from a stroke she had suffered earlier in the day. The deceased was born Maria Augusta Karoline Pasch on August 23, 1866 in Rambow, Pomerania, Germany and had reached the age of 50 years, 1 month and 7 days. She came to America with her parents in 1883, and they settled in Rockville. In 1888 sje married Mr. Herman Jaschob, who survives her, and the couple lived in Kiel until 1910 moving to a farm near Millhome where she died. The marriage was blessed with nine children of whom eight are still living, namely Mrs. Emil Fischer in Sheboygan, Mrs. Calvin Arpke in Franklin, Anita, Vera, Eddie, William, Alvin and Edgar who are all at home. She is further survived by her aged mother, one sister Mrs. August Jaschob in Kiel and three brothers, Frank Pasch in Milwaukee, August in Canada and Carl in Germany. The burial took place on Monday afternoon at the Kiel Cemetery with Pastor Rech officiating.
