Mrs. Garris retired from the former Glass Containers Corp.in Knox. She was married on Nov.27, 1937 to Samuel Leroy Garris, who preceded her in death May 5, 1970.
Surviving are two Daus. Barbara Ritts and husband Fred, Seneca, and Carolyn Myers and husband Dallas, Shippenville; three grandchildren, Bruce Ritts, Erie, Sharon Blauser, Greenville, and Dallas Myers, Shippenville, three great-grandchildren, Zachery and Elaine Blauser and Danielle Ritts. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Helen Wetzel, Emlenton and Mrs. June Fleming, Eua Claire; two brothers, Paul Best, St. Petersburg, and Harold Richard Best, Warren, Ohio.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by five sisters, Blanche Ketner, Grace Garris, Ruth Garris, Mabel Chaffee and Lottie Reed, and a brother, Ralph Best.
Services will be private.
