Louis Houghton, 71, Beetown, died Monday in a Lancaster Hospital after a long illness.
He had farmed in the Beetown area and belonged to the Modern Woodman Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Helena; two sons, Melvin, Cassville, and Lyle, Bloomington; two sisters, Mrs Archie Bass, Beetown, and Mrs Stella Foster, Lancaster; a brother Kenneth, Sauk City; ten grandchildren and nine great grand children.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 15, at 1:30pm at the Harris and Wepking Funeral Home. Rev David Kallio officiated with burial in the Beetown cemetery.
