Homer Rainey
Dresden: Services for Homer Clyde Rainey were held Sunday at the Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Rainey, age 66, died September 27th, in the Veteran's Hospital in Lexington, KY.
Rev. Cayce Pentecost and Bro. A.R. Williams officiated, with burial in the McClain's Chapel Cemetery.
A retired construction worker and farmer, he was a World War 2 Veteran. His church membership was Baptist.
He is survived by two brothers, James Harry Rainey of Memphis, and Bill Rainey of Chicago; and three sisters, Mrs. Anna Bell Winston, Mrs. Ona Mae Adams, both of Dresden, and Mrs. Flossie Laws of Detroit.
Alfred Essary, Guy Bynum, Harley Sadler, Robert Mansfield, Frankie Mansfield, and Edward Parker served as pallbearers.
