Mrs. Anna R. McCune, mother of Mrs. William Smith of Brownsburg, died Friday in the Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, at the age of 73. She was a resident of 4030 East 30th Street, Indianapolis. She had been in ill health for the past several months. She was a native of Virginia, born April 10, 1895, and a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services were Monday afternoon from the Jones & Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with the Rev. R. M. Bodrill of Indianapolis officiating. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis. Survivors include two children, Mrs. William Smith, Brownsburg, and Paul E. McCune, Corona, California; four brothers and sisters, Archie Scott, Fred Scott, Mrs. Elizabeth Gibbons and Mrs. Grace Rosen; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. [January 2, 1969 Republican]
