PASTOR HAS STROKE WHILE IN PULPIT

Indianapolis, April 3 - Funeral services for Dr. Ernest Newton Evans, 62-year-old pastor who died yesterday after suffering a stroke of apoplexy in his pulpit at First United Brethren church, will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m.
Secretary of the church federation of Indianapolis, Dr. Evans was said by associates to have been one of the strongest unifying forces in the city's religious affairs during the past 14 years.
