Charles Thomas Isham, former Hall County citizen and brother of Tom Isham of Lakeview, died at his home near Clarendon Thursday, Nov. 26. He was 57 years of age.

Funeral services were conducted from the Lakeview Baptist Church Saturday afternoon, Nov. 28, at 3 o'clock., with Rev. C.E. Brister, pastor, officiating. Rev. G.H. Gattis of Lakeview assisted. Interment was in the Lakeview Cemetery with the Buntin Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers were Ben Hill, N.A. Hightower, Cal Holland, C.G. Reeves, Oran Holt, and Tom Luttrell.

Mr. Isham was born Nov. 18, 1879, in Dodd City, Texas. He was married to Miss Molly Trent in 1900, who died in 1907. To this union three children were born, all of whom survive. On Sept. 8, 1908, Mr. Isham was married to Mrs. Nora Bell Phelps, and to this union five children were born, four of whom are still living.

Mrs. Isham lived in Hall County for many years, moving from the Brice community two years ago to a farm near Clarendon.

Survivors are the wife, Mrs. Charles Isham of near Clarendon; seven children, T.C., Ray, and David Isham, and Mrs. Joe Simms, Clarendon; Lowell Isham, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Harry Hartzog, Giles; Mrs. Fred Henry, Whitesboro; one sister, Mrs. A.E. Ramsey of Lakeview; one brother, Tom Isham, Lakeview; one step-daughter, Mrs. Cecil Kellough, Clarendon.
