Services Held for Mrs. Pool
Services were held Wednesday for Mrs. Maggie Pool, a long-time
resident of the rural Lamont community, at the Sprague Community church.
Rev. Richard Temple officiated. Interment followed at the Macabee cemetery
in Sprague.
Mrs. Pool passed away in St. Ignasius hospital in Colfax Saturday
evening. She was 82.
She was born in Ceder Falls, Iowa, May 17, 1877, and had lived in
the Lamont community the last 55 years. Her husband, John, preceded her in
death in 1955.
Mrs. Pool was a member of the Henrietta chapter, OES, in Sprague
and the Community church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John Armstrong of Seattle;
two sons, Richard and Austin, both of Lamont; and four grandchildren
