Schoolcraft, Jan. 24,- [Special.] Dewitt Burgess, section boss here and a well known man, died here today of la grippe, aged about 37 years. He caught cold at the time of the wreck west of here a few days since. Kalamazoo Gazette January 25, 1890 page 1
