Funeral services for Mrs. Gwynne Denison Burnett, 85, of Ida Grove, were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Christensen Funeral Home in Ida Grove. She died last Saturday, Sept. 13 1987, in Morningside Care Center in Ida Grove.
The Rev. James Krapf officiated, with burial in the Ida Grove cemetery. An Order of Eastern Star service was at 7:30 p.pm Monday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Burnett, the former Gwynne Kiner, was born July 6, 1902, in Ida Grove. She married Charles P. Denison in 1925. She was employed as a law clerk for Judge Bruce Snell Sr. in Ida Grove until 1944 when the couple moved to Des Moines. They returned to Ida Grove in 1971. He died in 1973. She married Kenneth H. Burnett in 1977.
Mrs. Burnett was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church, Maple Chapter 377 Order of Eastern Star and the Ida County Historical Society. She was a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
