Services for Lonnie Flentge, 83, of Gatesville were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Marwitz-Freeman Funeral Home chapel. Bro. Bill Dodd conducted the rites, and burial was in Restland Cemetery.
Mr. Flentge, a retired farmer and a longtime resident of Coryell County, died Sunday in the local hospital.
Son of the late Theodore and Minnie Flentge, he was born Nov. 15, 1898, near Brenham and came to Coryell County as a youth.
He was married to the former Ellen Robertson on Oct. 18, 1922, near Gatesville. They farmed west of this city until moving to Gatesville in 1968.
Mr. Flentge was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife and by a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers for Mr. Flentge's funeral were Wayne McHargue, Todd Flentge, Paul Beaty, Kurt Flentge, Raymond Leonard and John Dunn.
