Artie (Mam-Maw) Gilbreath Black of Grapevine died March 20 in Grapevine. She was 80.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Scott's Funeral Home in Gatesville. Burial was in Restland Cemetery.
Mrs. Black was born Aug. 1, 1918, in Moshiem. She was the daughter of the late William Wyatt and Georgia Lou Riddle. She retired from the City of Austin and moved to Temple where she attended Canyon Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Joe Marion Gilbreath and Darold Lester Black.
Survivors include a son, Joe W. Gilbreath of Big Spring; two step-sons, Bob Black and Clinton Black, both of Portland; two daughters, Pat Norman and husband Terry of Grapevine and Marion Gonzales and husband Sam of Georgetown; one step-daughter, Ann Black of Irving; brother, Lloyd Riddle and wife Mildred of Fort Worth; sister, Loveda Jackson of Oglesby; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
