FUENRAL HELD FOR PIONEER WOMAN OF ROGERS

Mrs. Amanda L. Looney of Rogers, a resident of Benton county all her life, was buried last Friday afternoon in the little Pleasant Grove cemetery near Lowell, following services conducted by Rev. Pat Murphy, and Rev. Oscar Ingold of Rogers, She had been ill but two months and died at her home in Rogers, Friday morning.

She is survived by six son(s), all of whom were present at the funeral: Virgil, John, James, Dave and Ellis of Rogers community, also George of McAlester, Okla.

Mrs. Looney was born near Lowell 83 years ago and her parents were among the early settlers of the southern part of the county.
