Mrs. Ralph Johnson of Winterset died at her home on north seventh street November 29th at the age of 27 years. She was formerly Lilly Fay Huss and was born April 28th, 1906 and had spent her life in and around Winterset.

On March 29th, 1924 the deceased was married to Ralph Johnson of Winterset. They were the parents of two children, Audrey, age 8 and Lenore Rose, age 4 years. In addition to her husband and two children, she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Huss; seven sisters, Mrs. Mack Hildebrant, Mrs. Clyde Reed, Vergie, Gladys, Glade and Phyllis all of Winterset and Mrs. Paul Oglesbie of Peru; two brothers, Emmett of Winterset and Glen of Des Moines; and a number of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Ramsey-Richards funeral home and were conducted by Rev. Peggy Athy of the Four Square Gospel church Saturday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial was made in the McDonald Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson had been ill for some time with pernicious anemia.
