Isaac Pennington was born May 10, 1862, and died August 12, 1936, making his stay on earth 74 years, 3 months, and 2 days.

He was married to Matishie Osborne in 1885, at the age of twenty three.

Born to this union were eleven children, four of which preceded him to the grave.
Those living are: Mrs. Ette Oliver, Emma McCoy, Rosa Williams of Hemlock, Belle McKnight of Winston-Salem, Birdie Oliver Parker, Clinton and Rudy Pennington, Hemlock.
He also leaves his wife, 39 grand-children, and 2 great-grandchildren.

He professed a hope in Christ, April 18, 1901, and was received into the Little Laurel Church, where he remained a faithful member until his death.
