Henry L. (Pop) Adams, 83, died at the home of his daugh­ter, Mrs. Pauline Spong, at Sharpsburg. Friday morning, of complications after an illness of one year. He was the son of the late Isabelle (Landis) Adams. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Hagerstown and a charter member of the Waynesboro Coun­cil Junior Order No. 760 U. A. M., Waynesboro. In addition to Mrs. Spong, he is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Miriam DeLauney, Sharps­burg; brother, Samuel Adams, Hagerstown; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm, from the Leaf Funeral Home in Sharpsburg. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
