Mrs. Laura Jane Adams, aged 79, widow of William Frank Adams, died yesterday at 3:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary A. Bovey, McKown and Wolff Building, with whom she has made her home for the last six years. She had been ill for the last three and a half years, and was confined to her bed since December. She was born at Tucker County, W. Va., the daughter of James R. and Lavina (Mason) Roye, and had lived most of her life in Hutton, Md. She was a member of the First United Brethren Church of Cornith, W. Va. Surviving are the following chil­dren: Mrs. Carrie Shaffer, Cresaptown, Md.; John T. Adams, James W. Adams and R. Charles Adams, all of Cumberland, Md.; Mrs. Bovey of Waynesboro; 16 grandchildren; I5 great grandchildren. She was the last of her family of five children. Her husband died nine years ago. Funeral services will be held Sat­urday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Grove Funeral Home, in charge of Rev. Miller Schmuck. Interment in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call this evening at the funeral home between the hours of 7 and 9 o'clock.
