FOWLER - Barbara Jean (Gribbins) , 73, of Louisville, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 9, 2007, at the Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
She was a retired cafeteria worker for the Jefferson County Board of Education and a member of Beechland Baptist Church, where she loved working with young children.
She is survived by her loving husband, Don Fowler Sr.; sons, Dr. Don Fowler Jr., Michael (Sally) and Kevin (Denise) Fowler; brothers, Clelland, Harold, Andy, Jerry & David Gribbins; a sister, Bernadette Bright; and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Matthew, Nathaniel and Benjamin.
Her funeral service will be held at noon on Friday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in the Old Liberty Cemetery, Bradfordsville, KY. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contribution may be made to: Beechland Baptist Church Building Fund.
