MICHAEL BOYLE DIES; EX-AID TO U. S. ATTORNEY
Michael J. Boyle, 33, of 4716 Wells St., former assistant United States district attorney, died in Chicago hospital of pneumonia. He became ill in his summer home in Cedar Lake, Ind. He was graduated from De Paul university law school in 1934, and for six years was an attorney for the Illinois department of Labor. In 1942 he was named an assistant United States district attorney, resigning in 1945 to enter the private practice of law with the firm of Boyle, O'Neill, and McGivney, with offices at 100 N. La Salle st.
Survivors include his widow, Grace; three sons, Michael Jr., John, and Richard; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Boyle, and a brother John Jr. His father is state representative from the 4th district.
Services held from 7042 S. Rockwell St. to St. Cecilia's church, 45th and Wells St. Burial in St. Mary's cemetery, Evergreen Park .
