Benjamin Brown reenlisted during 1780 under Capt. William Lenoir and Col. Cleveland. Also during 1780, he served under Capt. Paul Patrick and Cols. William Benjamine Brown was allowed pension on his application executed 7 January 1832 while residing in Elbert County, Georgia.

He married Nancy by 1785. On 22 Nov 1799 Benjamin and Nancy Brown deeded land in Elbert Co. (Deed Book F, page 85)

He married on 3 Apr 1823 in Elbert Co. to Mrs. Prudence Richardson. She was the widow of Walker Richardson. (Elbert Co. Will Book M, page 302, estate of Walker Richardson)

On 14 Mar 1835 he married to Joanah (widow of Thomas Gregg) as per Elbert Co. Deed Book W, page 162, where Joanah was mentioned as his wife. She was also named Joanna in his Will dated dated 28 Jan 1843.

His first wife Nancy died on 14 Oct 1821 at age 58 years and 8 days, as per a record in the Family Bible of his son Dozier Brown.
