Henry Irvin Starks, 28, graduate of Springfield High school and Lincoln College of Law, died yesterday at St. John's sanitarium. He had been employed by the Wabash railroad until his last illness.
Funeral services at the residence of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry I. Starts, sr. and at Plymouth Congregational church. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery with members of Tyrian lodge, AF & AM, of which decedent was a member, in charge of services at the grave.
Decedent was born in Decatur but was reared in this city. He married Velma G. Hickman, Sept. 16, 1922.
Besides his wife and parents, decedent is survived by one son, Henry Irvin Starks III; one daughter, Dorothy Lorraine; one sister, Mary Caroline; one brother, John G.; aunts, Mrs. E. E. Hoagland, Long Beach, Cal; Mrs. Caroline Williams, Bluffs; one uncle, George M. Wolford, city.
