Funeral rites for A. E. PITTMAN, 84, resident of this area for more than half a century, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, September 23, in the Fist Christian Church.
Rev. Lael SMITH, pastor, officiated at the services. Mr. PITTMAN was a member of the First Christian Church of Perryton. Pallbearers were Frank PITTMAN, Larry PITTMAN, Bill PITTMAN, Terral PITTMAN, Donnie PITTMAN and Imel SEAGO. Interment in Ochiltree cemetery was directed by Boxwell Brothers, Perryton.
Amcy Emerson PITTMAN was born May 1, 1884, at Chautauqua, Kans., the son of Henry PITTMAN and Gertie Goodwin PITTMAN. He came to Beaver county as a young man in 1906, and moved to Perryton about 20 years ago, retiring from farming.
He died at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at Senior Village.
Surviving are his wife, Alma of Perryton; five sons, Erlis PITTMAN of Morse, Wendell PITTMAN of Beaver, Okla., Emmett PITTMAN of Kress, Wamon PITTMAN of Wardon, Wash., and Leonard PITTMAN of Buena Vista, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. A. M. (Helen) KOEHN of Perryton, and and Mrs. C. B. (Ethel) SEAGO of Perryton; 12 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
