Mrs. B. A. Lee.

The entire valley was shocked Sunday morning by hearing of the death of Mrs. B. A. Lee of this city. She died suddenly Sunday morning about 9:30, due to complication before and after the birth of her baby last week, of dropsical nature.

The funeral was held from the church at 5 p. m. Monday afternoon under the direction of Alget Hall, funeral director for H. Rasmussen of Rawlins, and was one of the most beautiful ever seen in the city. The services were conducted by Rev. Burr and the Women of Woodcraft and Rebekah lodges, of which she was a member, took an active part. Interment was made in the cemetery at this place.

As it was dark by the time the funeral reached the cemetery, all the lights of the cars were turned in a circle on the grave, and with the casket entirely covered with flowers, made one of the most beautiful scenes imaginable.

Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Ivy and Grandma Wilcox, accompanied by Mrs. Grace France, came over from Rawlins to attend the funeral, and Mrs. Franco sang at the services. As Mrs. France is considered one of the best singers in the county, it was indeed beautiful.

Mrs. Lee was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. M Wilcox and was raised in this valley. She married B. A. Lee in 1902 and to this union seven children were born. John, the eldest, was drown in a tributary to South Spring creek on the old Miner ranch, when Mr. Lee owned that place. She was always a kind loving mother and wife, and devoted to her children and her husband. Never assuming much time to anything but her family, she was a natural home body. It is indeed a sad loss to her children and family. At this time there is little we can offer of solace to those who feel the loss so keen, but may their trust and prayers be answered.

Deceased leaves six children all under ten years of age besides her husband, B. A. Lee, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Wilcox, her sister Mrs. W. E. Broadhurst, and two brothers, Clark and Lee Wilcox.
