Ann Marie Isaacs 91, of Hillsboro, IL passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 3:03 a.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. A Graveside Service will take place on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Wares Grove Cemetery in Rural Butler, IL. Friends may gather at 1:30 p.m. at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro, IL to process to the cemetery. Rev. Randy Sands, Pastor of Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro, IL will officiate. Burial will be held in Wares Grove Cemetery in Rural Butler, IL

Ms. Isaacs was born on June 29, 1929 in Taylor Springs, IL to the late Thomas Ondrey, Jr. and Nellie (Moreland) Ondrey. She was a 1947 graduate of Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, IL, and she went on to be a homemaker and had also worked for Illinois Consolidated Telephone as an operator from 1949-1951. Ms. Isaacs married Billy Paul Isaacs on October 17, 1949 in Hillsboro, IL. She was a member of the Walshville Christian Church; Member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary; Amway Distributor for 40 years; Avid Cardinal fan; Helped raise guinea pigs and rabbits for medical research from 1950-1978; Election Judge for approximately 40 years; she enjoyed puzzles of all kinds, as well as reading, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ms. Isaacs was raised in the Summit Heights area and she moved back to Hillsboro in 1947.

Ms. Isaacs is survived by her daughters- Billie (husband Steve) Hutchison of Benton City, WA; Laura (husband Steve) White of Schram City, IL; Patricia (husband Mike) Murphy of Hillsboro, IL; her grandchildren- Lannie (husband Brian) Beecher, Steve (wife Julie) White, Tony White, Tyson (wife Heather) Hutchison, Aaron Hutchison, Michael Murphy, and Patrick Murphy; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters- Hazel Petcher of Hillsboro, IL; Inez (husband Larry) Beckett, Texas; Jean Meyer of Taylor Springs, IL; one brother-Kenneth (wife Doris) Ondrey of Taylor Springs, IL; and one sister-in-law- Clarice Ondrey of Taylor Springs, IL. Ms. Isaacs was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Ondrey, Jr. and Nellie (Moreland) Ondrey; her husband, Billy Paul Isaacs; one daughter, Paula Baugher; one granddaughter, Mendy (Baugher) Harms; one great-granddaughter, Taylor Shanks; two sisters- Veronica Sue Houser and Lillian Gaffney and two brothers- Thomas Ondrey III and Tim Ondrey.

Memorials may be given to the Harvest of Hope Food Pantry at World Harvest Church in Hillsboro, IL.
