Services Audrey Parmer Rockett, 87, will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel. Officiating will be Minister Charles A. Davis pastor of Red Chute Church of Christ, assisted by Minster Art Davis associate pastor of the church. Interment will follow at Pease Chapel Cemetery, Haughton, LA. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2009 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City, LA.

Mrs. Rockett was born July 25, 1922 in Haughton, LA to George B. and Fannie E. Tidwell Parmer and died December 18, 2009 in Bossier City, LA. She was a member of Red Chute Church of Christ, the Red Hat Society and the retired owner of a restaurant.

Her husband, Ben "Rocky" Rockett; sons, Leonard and Wayne Chandler, sisters, Hazel, June and Debora and brothers, Jacob and Richard preceded her in death.

She is survived by sons, Michael G. Chandler and wife Sally of Rowlett, TX, Willie Stafford Rockett and wife Christy of Haughton, LA, Ben Warren Rockett and wife Kay of Haynesville, LA; daughter, Judy Gail Kent and husband James of Sandersville, GA; sister, Barbara Davis and husband Charles of Haughton, LA; brother, James E. Parmer of St. Jo, TX; 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Rockett's grandsons will honor her by serving as pallbearers.
