Ammon Myers
Ammon Myers, 70, of 1116 Pine St., died Monday at Memorial Hospital.
He was the husband of Margaret A. Stiles Myers.
Born in York County, he was the son of the late Robert and Daisy Slenker Myers.
Mr. Myers owned and operated the Myers Blacksmith and Body Shop until his recent illness. He was a member of Heidleberg United Church of Christ and the 13th Ward Democratic Club. He was an Army veteran, having served in England during World War II.
Survivors include:
Two sons — Robert A. Myers, 2541 Audlyn Drive, Shiloh, and Harold Myers, York Haven RD 1.
A daughter — Barbara A. Harlacher, 1950 Church Road, Shiloh.
Four grandchildren.
A sister — Meda Rinehart, Spring Grove RD 1.
There will be no viewing.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Morgan Frey Funeral Home Inc., 1223 George St.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Henry Korinth. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
