OBITUARY
The Peoria Journal - March 5, 1907
Sarah Elizabeth Hale, aged 52 years, died Saturday evening at 131 Louise Street of Pulmonary tuberculosis. The remains were shipped to Smithfield, Fulton county, for interment.

BERNADOTTE COLUMN
The body of Mrs. Josiah Hale, of Peoria, was brought here Tuesday and funeral services were held in the church, conducted by the Rev. Monroe Douglas, of Cuba, after which the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery west of town. Mrs. Hale leaves a husband and several children, two brothers, of Peoria, and two sisters to mourn her departure.
