NELLIE ANN CLARK BOONE, 87, New Haven, died May 31, 2007, at Flaget Hospital in Bardstown. A native of Nelson County, Boone was a homemaker and member of St. Catherine Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by: her parents, John (s/b James) Roland and Alta Ann Whelan Clark; her husband, Felix B. Boone; a daughter, Jessie Cissell; two sons, Joseph Bernard "J.B." and Eugene Boone; three sisters, Marcella Smutch, Evelyn Harold and Lucille McDaniel; and two brothers, J.R. and Benedict Clark. Survivors include: four daughters, Marie Sharp of Louisville, Antonella McCorkle of Hodgenville and Mary Boone and Phyllis Boone, both of New Haven; seven sons, Felix and Ivo Boone, both of Bardstown, Marvin Boone of Louisville, Raymond Boone of Fairfield, Ohio, and Freddy, Richard and Daniel Boone, all of New Haven; a brother, Gerald Clark; 35 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held June 4 at St. Catherine Church in New Haven with burial in the church cemetery. Father Jeffrey P. Leger officiated. Memorial donations can be made to VNA Nazareth Home Care, 101 W. Chestnut St., Louisville, Ky. 40202, or St. Catherine Parish, 413 First Street, New Haven, Ky. 40051. Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, New Haven, was in charge of the arrangements.
