MARY LOUISE WALKER BALL, 63, New Haven widow of Cyril Francis Ball, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, at her residence after an illness. She served as a member of the New Haven Town Board from January 1980 until December 1985. She was a member of the St. Catherine Altar Society and choir and of the New Haven Homemakers. Survivors include seven sons, Larry Ball of Bardstown, Sgt. David Ball, U.S. Marine Corps, Jacksonville, N.C., Cyril Ball Jr. of Denver, Mark Stephen Ball of Bloomington, Ind., James Anthony Ball of Fremont, Calif., Charles Thomas Ball of New Haven, and John Christopher Ball of Route 1, New Haven; five daughters, Michelle Clark of Lebanon, Linda Willett of Wadsworth, IL., Maryanne Lanclos of New Haven, Mary Virginia Hudson of Peru, Ind., and Sara Louise Norton of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; 23 grandchildren; two brothers, Buddy Walker of Bardstown and Raymond Walker of Fancy Farm, Ky.; four sisters, Sister Charles Maureen Walker, LS, of St. Louis, Susan Hughes of Bardstown, Neil Hughes of Loretto, and Martina Thompson of Louisville; and a half-sister, Lillian Walker of Murray. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, with a concelebrated Mass at St. Catherine Church, New Haven. The Rev. Wayne Jenkins and the Rev. Jack Caldwell will be the celebrants. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be nephews, Darrell and Gene Hughes, Steven Walker, Matthew and Timmy Ball and Daniel Clark. Joe Eddie Ball will serve as honorary pallbearer. The body is at the Joseph L. Greenwell Funeral Home, where the St. Catherine Altar Society will hold a Rosary service at 4 p.m. today. Prayers will be recited at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
